The “AI & Intellectual Property Law” specialist group is primarily aimed at professionals from the corporate sector who deal intensively with the interfaces between AI and intellectual property law (and in particular issues relating to copyright and patent law). However, the specialist group is also open to all other interested parties from the fields of research, administration, and law. The aim of the specialist group is, on the one hand, to discuss current issues in a practice-oriented manner and to develop solutions and, on the other hand, to actively contribute to ongoing legislative processes in the form of white papers or other means.
Management of the specialist group
Dr. Sandra Marmy-Brändli, partner at Schiffbau Rechtsanwälte, and Dr. Daniel Burkard, counsel at TIMES Attorneys, jointly head the “AI & Intellectual Property Law” practice group. Both are intensively involved in the various legal issues at the interface between AI and IP and advise clients from a wide range of sectors on these matters.
